The Quinnipiac Poll shows that American voters don’t care too much for President Donald Trump or the Democratic Presidential Candidates.

Donald Trump is leading the way with a 53% unfavorable and a 42% favorable. Former Vice President Joe Biden is not far behind. He has a 50% unfavorable rating and a 43% favorable rating.

Bernie Sanders comes in a strong third with a 49% unfavorable rating and a 44% favorable rating. Elizabeth Warren’s 47% unfavorable rating and 39% favorable rating places her in fourth place.

Michael Bloomberg is holding on to fifth place with a 40% unfavorable rating and a 34% unfavorable rating. And get this, 25% of folks say they don’t know enough about him in order to make a decision about whether they like him or not. But I’m quite sure that as that “don’t know” gap narrows, Bloomberg will overtake Biden as the one nipping at Trump’s heals for the number one spot.

Don’t worry folks, neither Bloomberg or any other candidate will take that number one spot from Trump who is the undisputed king of haterade.

I know there of some of you who are wondering where Pete Buttigieg and Amy Klobuchar fall in this little group, here. And where they fall is the bottom which is kind of a good thing for them because it means they don’t have high unfavorable ratings.

Before you Buttigieg and Klobuchar fans go jumping up and down, y’all need to know those low unfavorable ratings aren’t an indication that folks are okay with the young mayor and the senator from Minnesota.

Buttigieg’s favorable ratings and unfavorable ratings are very close. He has a 36% favorable rating and a 32% unfavorable rating and 31% of folks who say they don’t know enough about him to form an opinion about him.

Klobuchar does a little better with a 32% favorable rating and 22% unfavorable rating. But like Buttigieg, her problem lies in the fact that a lot of folks, 44%, say they don’t know her too well.

Y’all remember when I was talking about Bloomberg and the 25% of folks who say they don’t know too much about him, and how he’s one of the top five of Democratic Presidential Candidates who American voters just don’t like? Well, Buttigieg and Klobuchar are headed towards Bloomberg’s way. Because as y’all know, the more folks learn about you the less they want to know you.

Just look at Bloomberg, there. He has the lowest number, 25%, of folks who don’t know him and he has a higher unfavorable rating. Better yet, Trump, Biden, Sanders, and Warren are all well-known and y’all see how high their unfavorables are.

Buttigieg will most likely get a higher unfavorable rating before Klobuchar does. His 36% favorable rating isn’t that far from his 32% unfavorable rating. Therefore, as that 31% of folks who don’t know him decreases down to, let’s say, 25% that unfavorable rating will surpass that favorable rating.

The whole point of all of this is that the Democratic Presidential Candidates are going to have to find a way to increase their favorable ratings in order to convince enough folks that they are better than Trump and should therefore be elected as the next president of the United States.

Because as it stands, that whole “Better than Trump” bit isn’t working. And the American voters aren’t going to elect any of the Democratic Presidential Candidates as the next president of the United States who the voters believe aren’t any better than Trump.
